Oh' clock
These O'Clock watches are fashioned in Milan and are pretty reasonable $£$£$£$£$, therefore making it necessary to own one in every colour.

Pow, right in the kisser.
Following the phenomenal success of her 2008 Rapscallion line (in collaboration with Urban Outfitters), Brooklyn based designer Samantha Pleet has once again provided a collection that conjurs new and ancient ideas from music, art, history, and literature. And who doesn't love a cape?
Her inspiration takes the guise of heroic females figures who have courageously carved their names in the historical landscape, most symbolically borrowing from the feminine take on masculinity through the aesthetic fearlessness of Amelia Earhart and Joan of Arc.
I'd be burnt at the stake for a chance to own you cape of dreams.

Bakers dozen
These limited edition treats designed for Bakers Dozen with their geometric simplicity and pastels colours are wonderfully pretty and remind us of snuffling down handfuls of parma violets, and that's always a good thing.

Fantastival
Since booking our Bestival tickets we've started musing over 'fantasy' costumes...
I'm sure we will expend alot of energy over the next few months wondering what the hell to wear.. plotting and planning... before eventually getting bored and just piling on a ton of grey body paint, grey cloth draped over us and all dignity lost by being 'statues'. This must never happen again.
If only we had flocks of birds to follow us around.
Who doesn't want to wear an all-in-one beaver (!?) outfit??
I particularly like the robotic hands and the tie dye t-shirt to compliment this look...

O so shiny
Art director Petra Storrs has the best job ever, fact. She's responsible for the fashioning of elaborate fantastical scenes, intricate props, all round joy and ample shininess to artists' videos such as 'Florence and the Machine', Friendly Fires and former burlesque performer Paloma Faith. As well as this impressive repetoire, she's also established herself as a costume designer, illustrator and the successful orchestrator of an entire dance troupe, which provided a physical backdrop to the exhibiting of various fashion designers' collections at the V&A.
This short film 'I Dream in Paper' stars Paloma and Petra's beautifully delicate paper designs. No naked flames allowed.

MNDR
This white specked lady is exciting many folk with her high energy disco beats, lazers and more enthusiasm on the keyboard than that cat.
We have no idea what MNDR stands for, but it could easily be Mistress of Noise and Destroyed Retinas (maybe)... Her addictive C.L.U.B makes us want to place ridiculous eye wear on our faces and lunge wildly.

Pretty Swish
Here at Kiki and Queenie we LOVE Swash.
Their images are just so creative and fantastical. I don't think I could ever get bored of gazing at dogs gently floating from ornate hot air balloons. As for the clothes-
Have a look at their amazing website here. Floating dog heads anyone? What I'd do to own this scarf-
Large Blue Balloon Print Scarf
Best outfit ever. Seriously. Practicality levels might not be so high (I'd ladder those beauteous leg adornments within a minute of even looking at them). But pretty levels are off any scale ever.

So...this happened...
Whilst building our Kiki & Queenie empire today we happened upon three questionable eggs and this was clearly the only solution... twelve cups of tea and four hours later. At least it was worth it...
Meet the gang.
Banshee Beat
We love these collages from Banshee Beat, which evoke a sense of ethereal 70's mysticism, making me want to sit in some foothills with a bearded shamen whilst wearing some wings and a sporting an oversized hat.
